There are a few basic rules to follow when choosing a company name:
Company names can be in any language
Company names may consist of numbers & letters.
Company names must not be similar to any currently registered names or trademarks
Company names must not contain problematic words
When reserving your company name, the system will first do a search on the names and indicate any similar names or any problematic words that have been used. If this happens your company name may be rejected.
For this reason you are required to submit 3 backup company name options when submitting your company name.
If this happens your company name may be rejected and you will need to re-apply with a new set of names.
In order to reduce the chance of this happening you can do a preliminary check if a company name is available.
