An incorporator is the person who is in charge of filing the company registration with the CIPC. Once the company has been registered, the incorporator will also sign the COR15.1A and COR 14.1 documents.

The incorporator is not involved in the company at all and carries no rights or responsibilities. They are not a shareholder or director and do not play any role in regards to the running of the company.
