CIPC Beneficial Ownership is a register of individuals who directly or indirectly own or control a company. It is submitted to the Companies and Intellectual Properties Commission (CIPC).
The South African government implemented this to give authorities the information needed to reduce the risk of money laundering, financial crimes, and reputation damage.
